Outbound Link Scanner
How It Works
The scanner performs a deep crawl of your website, extracting all outbound links and analyzing their characteristics. For each link discovered, it evaluates multiple security indicators: whether the URL uses shortening services that mask the true destination, if it points directly to an IP address instead of a domain name, whether it employs internationalized domain names (IDN) that could be used for spoofing, and if the visible anchor text accurately represents where the link actually leads.
Once analysis completes, the tool generates a comprehensive report highlighting links that match suspicious patterns. Links are categorized by threat level, making it easy to identify high-priority issues that may indicate spam injection or link hijacking. The report includes the exact location of each suspicious link on your site, its destination, and the specific reason it was flagged.
This server-side analysis requires no installation or browser extensions. Simply submit your website URL and the scanner handles the rest, providing actionable intelligence about your site's external link profile and any security concerns.
